WOMEN:
Prophet Muhammad, founder of Islam, says of women they are “deficient
in intelligence and religion”, “the evidence of two women is equal to
one man”
One of his successors the Caliph Ali, Muhammad’s cousin and son in law,
said women are evil: “men, never ever obey your women. Never let them
advise you on any matter concerning your daily life”.
WIVES:
Wives may be beaten as divinely ordained, “As to those women on whose
part he fears disloyalty and ill conduct, admonish them (first),
(next), refuse to share their beds (and last) beat them (lightly): but
if they return to obedience, seek not against them means of
(annoyance). Surah 4:32.
But more forcible action is permissible, “If admonishing and sexual
desertion fail to bring forth results and the woman is of a cold and
stubborn type, the Quaran bestows on man the right to straighten her
out by right of punishment and beating, providing he does not break her
bones nor shed blood. When your wife belongs to this quarrelsome type
and requires this sort of punishment to bring her to her senses!....by
the scourging which deters.” (Ahmad Ahmad in The Individual Guarantee in The Islamic Law”)
FEMALE SLAVES:
Prophet Muhammad himself owned many slaves (the names of forty are recorded by Muslim chroniclers) and according to the Quran “female slaves might lawfully be enjoyed by their masters .”
According to the Hadith, one of Prophet Muhammad’s wives was Ayesha,
who was 6 yrs old when she was “given” to him in marriage and 9 when he
consummated it!
The teaching of slavery within Islam is
played out in slave markets across the world. According to an article
reported in The Washington Times, young Afghan girls as young as five
years old get auctioned off for up to $100 and are sold into
prostitution or harems (as multiple wives) in Pakistan, a Muslim
country controlled by Sharia Law.
CRUEL MUTILATION TO WOMEN AND CHILDREN
In the DVD ISLAM RISING: A Call To One World Ummah (still
in production) I had the privilege of interviewing Nonie Darwish, a
former Muslim, daughter of a shahid (martyr) who has now converted to
Christianity. She explains the widespread practice of genitalia
mutilation among millions of women worldwide and in particular among
those she grew up with in Egypt including her own family members.
Affirmed in a Hadith by Muhammad himself, this barbaric practice
exposes young children and women to having their clitoris amputated and
sometimes part of, or even the entire vulva from the genitalia in order
to inhibit women from having pleasure during sex , and instead to rather endure excrutiating pain.
